Read in your language.
Your IP region sets the default language on your first visit to the homepage. You can always choose another language.
Default language
Malaysia defaults to Malay. Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan default to Chinese. Other regions default to English. IP location is used only to choose a language; it does not establish nationality or your preferred language.
Your choice comes first
Using the language controls saves your preference in this browser for 180 days. Opening a page under /en/, /ms/ or /zh/ directly keeps that page’s language.
If the location is inaccurate
VPNs, proxy services and mobile networks can make your IP region differ from your physical location. Change the language at any time. If no region is available, the default is English.
Sharing & bookmarks
Every language version has a separate address. Language switching keeps the current section where available. Bookmark a language-specific address to return directly to that version.
